Archive policy
Corrections, attribution and rights
The archive is a reconstruction, not the original TightBeatz organization. Historical handles remain the primary identity, and missing material is not recreated as fact.
Request a correction or removal
Email contact@tightbeatzarchive.org. Do not send passwords, private account credentials, government IDs, financial details, medical details or private messages that are not yours to share.
Include the archive URL or catalog item ID, the correction or removal requested, your relationship to the material, and the attribution you prefer. Rights and privacy requests take priority over historical completeness.
Contribute a lead
The archive does not accept uploads, accounts or comments. Send public links, old URLs, usernames, dates and source descriptions by email first. A lead is not published as fact until its evidence class is clear.
Useful subject line: TightBeatz lead - old handle / record title. Include whether the lead is direct proof, your own memory, someone else's recollection, or a question you want checked.
What helps most right now
- Old forum handles, aliases, crew names and account-number clues.
- Mixtape tracklists, cover art, missing song titles and surviving public links.
- Wayback URLs, SoundClick/MySpace/YouTube pages, screenshots and date clues.
- MP3 filenames, old ID3 tags, dead image filenames, banner/signature files and archived profile URLs.
- Corrections when a person, era, role, title or source label is wrong.
How leads are handled
Every lead is treated as a clue first. Public source links, self-identification, third-party recollection and private memory are labeled differently. Material can be summarized without exposing the raw submission.
Publication boundaries
- Public evidence
- Archived pages, external media records and public community threads.
- Community memory
- Self-identification, recollection and third-party claims remain separately labeled.
- Private material
- Raw social captures, present-day contact details and unresolved files remain outside the public release.
- Music
- External linking is the default. Direct streaming is limited to artist-authorized files.
